Personally I'm recommending the game for solo players (no personal experience with multiplayer yet). I enjoyed it a lot, I found it quite polished for an Early Access game, and with more contet coming, it's bound to get even better.

I'm running through a dark, narrow tunnel just as fast as my little legs will take me. The last time I ran this fast for this long it was because I'd stepped into a chamber coated with slime, heard a deep rumble, and saw a glowing centipede the size of a jumbo jet scrabbling out of the darkness at me. I turned and ran and didn't stop until I'd gotten all the way back to my base.

Wood Pickaxe helps mine the soft dirt biome walls more quickly. All walls can be slowly broken by punching continuously (except obsidian).

Boss Core Keeper Gameplay fights range from fairly easy to pretty difficult. I haven't done all of them yet, but my impression is that all can be defeated solo. However, for some of them you may need to wait for specific items to drop, and their drop rate is very very low.

Boss order and world exploration are theoretically quite flexible, given this is a sandbox game. There is currently only one solid gate to progress: defeating the first 3 bosses. Which separates this guide into two parts.
